Direct X 11 is built into Windows 7, and it is available as an update for Windows Vista. For the same reasons noted in the preceding question, Direct3D 11 and related APIs are not available on Windows XP.Once you have downloaded and run the web installer, you will be required to restart your system.Direct X 11 is supported in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.You use the ID3DBlob interface to access the blob data.Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Technet Web site.Apply the latest service pack or platform update which may be offered to your system. You can search for Direct X from the Microsoft Download Center. You can also manually download and apply the update package that updates Direct X to the latest version for your operating system. Hate to say it but for what it is worth even if the game would run on that HD 2400, the card is so slow that the game would be pretty much unplayable due to low FPS.

The Nvidia 8xxx series does support some of the features from Direct X 10.1, but not enough to be called Direct X 10.1 cards.
